From May 2nd–4th, 2025, GOOB 2.0 invited visitors on a Digital Nostalgia-charged journey through art, robots, music, and sustainability. This three-day event brought together 25+ Australian Visual Artists for a vibrant, tech-inspired experience that reimagined the late ‘90s and early 2000s internet aesthetic through contemporary art and upcycled materials.
Hosted at VENTspace, South Brisbane, the event featured interactive installations, a high-energy rave, and hands-on workshops—all built around themes of creative reuse, retro tech, and collective imagination.

Our Opening Night was the official exhibition unveiling of art by 25+ local artists, glitchy late-‘90s/early-2000s vibes, and the interactive robots by @stephenfinkel
This night featured playable video games, cocktail special and a collaborative painting project on one of our Bots! 🎨🤖
